Seagrape | Uva de Playa

Seagrape | Uva de Playa
Ripe sea grapes are wonderful to eat!
The taste is a combination of sweet and acidic flavors that bind together. Interesting fact: Unlike coconut trees, “la uva de playa” is native to the Caribbean and its lineage goes back a couple of million years ago. Besides providing shade, they’re incredibly useful in reducing sand erosion.
It’s an awesome treat to enjoy while hanging out on the beach!
